JEREMIAH 40 1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains AMONG all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon. 5 Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him AMONG the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. 6 Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him AMONG the people that were left in the land. 11 Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and AMONG the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan; JEREMIAH 41 8 But ten men were found AMONG them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. EZEKIEL 6 8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword AMONG the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. 9 And they that escape of you shall remember me AMONG the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. 13 Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be AMONG their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols. EZEKIEL 9 2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man AMONG them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. EZEKIEL 11 1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; AMONG whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. 9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments AMONG you. 16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off AMONG the heathen, and although I have scattered them AMONG the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. EZEKIEL 12 10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are AMONG them. 12 And the prince that is AMONG them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes. 15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them AMONG the nations, and disperse them in the countries. 16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations AMONG the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 13 19 And will ye pollute me AMONG my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? EZEKIEL 15 2 Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is AMONG the trees of the forest? 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree AMONG the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem. EZEKIEL 16 14 And thy renown went forth AMONG the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 20 9 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, AMONG whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt. 23 I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them AMONG the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; 38 And I will purge out from AMONG you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. --MORE-- |
