NEHEMIAH 5 3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and HOUSES, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth. 11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their HOUSES, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. NEHEMIAH 10 34 And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the HOUSES of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law: JOB 1 4 And his sons went and feasted in their HOUSES, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. JOB 3 15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their HOUSES with silver: JOB 4 19 How much less in them that dwell in HOUSES of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth? JOB 15 28 And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in HOUSES which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps. JOB 21 9 Their HOUSES are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. JOB 22 18 Yet he filled their HOUSES with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me. JOB 24 16 In the dark they dig through HOUSES, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. JOB 31 20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the FLEECE of my sheep; PSALM 49 11 Their inward thought is, that their HOUSES shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. PROVERBS 1 13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our HOUSES with spoil: PROVERBS 30 26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their HOUSES in the rocks; ECCLESIASTES 2 4 I made me great works; I builded me HOUSES; I planted me vineyards: ISAIAH 3 14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your HOUSES. ISAIAH 5 9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many HOUSES shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant. ISAIAH 6 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the HOUSES without man, and the land be utterly desolate, ISAIAH 8 14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the HOUSES of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. ISAIAH 13 16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their HOUSES shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. 21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their HOUSES shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. 22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate HOUSES, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged. ISAIAH 32 13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the HOUSES of joy in the joyous city: ISAIAH 42 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison HOUSES: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. ISAIAH 65 21 And they shall build HOUSES, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. JEREMIAH 5 7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' HOUSES. 27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their HOUSES full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. JEREMIAH 6 12 And their HOUSES shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 17 22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your HOUSES on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. JEREMIAH 18 22 Let a cry be heard from their HOUSES, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet. JEREMIAH 19 13 And the HOUSES of Jerusalem, and the HOUSES of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the HOUSES upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.
