GENESIS 3 5 FOR God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good FOR food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground FOR thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; FOR out of it wast thou taken: FOR dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. 22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live FOR ever: GENESIS 4 15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. GENESIS 14 13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; FOR he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram. And she said, I FLEE from the face of my mistress Sarai. 10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered FOR multitude. 13 And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: FOR she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? GENESIS 17 4 As FOR me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; FOR a father of many nations have I made thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations FOR an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, FOR an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh FOR an everlasting covenant. 15 And God said unto Abraham, As FOR Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. 19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him FOR an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as FOR Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. GENESIS 18 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: FOR therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. 14 Is any thing too hard FOR the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; FOR she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. 19 FOR I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. 24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place FOR the fifty righteous that are therein? 26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place FOR their sakes. 28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city FOR lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. 29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it FOR forty's sake. 31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it FOR twenty's sake. 32 And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there.
