GENESIS 19 1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his FACE toward the ground; 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will ABIDE in the street all night. 13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the FACE of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it. EXODUS 14 19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their FACE, and stood behind them: 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the FACE of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. EXODUS 16 14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the FACE of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; ABIDE ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. EXODUS 32 12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the FACE of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. EXODUS 33 11 And the LORD spake unto Moses FACE to FACE, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. 16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the FACE of the earth. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my FACE: for there shall no man see me, and live. 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my FACE shall not be seen. EXODUS 34 29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his FACE shone while he talked with him. 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his FACE shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. 33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his FACE. 35 And the children of Israel saw the FACE of Moses, that the skin of Moses' FACE shone: and Moses put the vail upon his FACE again, until he went in to speak with him. LEVITICUS 8 35 Therefore shall ye ABIDE at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
