And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel. 1 KINGS 16 34 In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in ABIRAM his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun. 1 CHRONICLES 1 27 ABRAM; the same is Abraham. 2 CHRONICLES 10 9 And he said unto them, What ADVICE give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us? 14 And answered them after the ADVICE of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took ADVICE, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. NEHEMIAH 9 7 Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose ABRAM, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham; PSALM 32 5 I ACKNOWLEDGE my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. PSALM 51 3 For I ACKNOWLEDGE my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem AHOLIBAH. 11 And when her sister AHOLIBAH saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms. 22 Therefore, O AHOLIBAH, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side; 36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and AHOLIBAH? yea, declare unto them their abominations; 44 Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto AHOLIBAH, the lewd women.
