DANIEL 6 1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom AN hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because AN excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. DANIEL 7 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is AN everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is AN everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. DANIEL 8 5 And as I was considering, behold, AN he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 12 And AN host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. DANIEL 9 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make AN end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to ANOINT the most Holy. DANIEL 10 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I ANOINT myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 10 And, behold, AN hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. DANIEL 11 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make AN agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with AN army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: DANIEL 12 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and AN half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. HOSEA 3 1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet AN adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for AN homer of barley, and AN half homer of barley: 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without AN image, and without AN ephod, and without teraphim: HOSEA 6 10 I have seen AN horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled. 11 Also, O Judah, he hath set AN harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people. HOSEA 7 4 They are all adulterers, as AN oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened. 6 For they have made ready their heart like AN oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire. 7 They are all hot as AN oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me. HOSEA 8 1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as AN eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. HOSEA 10 1 Israel is AN empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images. 11 And Ephraim is as AN heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods. HOSEA 13 13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is AN unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children. 15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, AN east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels. JOEL 2 1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound AN alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; JOEL 3 3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for AN harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. AMOS 3 11 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; AN adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. 12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of AN ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. 15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have AN end, saith the LORD. AMOS 5 3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave AN hundred, and that which went forth by AN hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. 13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is AN evil time. AMOS 6 6 That drink wine in bowls, and ANOINT themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. AMOS 7 2 And it came to pass, that when they had made AN end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. 14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was AN herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: 17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be AN harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land. AMOS 8 10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of AN only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. OBADIAH 1 1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and AN ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. JONAH 1 9 And he said unto them, I am AN Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. JONAH 3 3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was AN exceeding great city of three days' journey. MICAH 1 6 Therefore I will make Samaria as AN heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of AN harlot, and they shall return to the hire of AN harlot. 15 Yet will I bring AN heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel. MICAH 2 3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise AN evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil. 8 Even of late my people is risen up as AN enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. MICAH 6 15 Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not ANOINT thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine. 16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof AN hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people. NAHUM 1 8 But with AN overrunning flood he will make AN utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. 9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make AN utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. HABAKKUK 2 3 For the vision is yet for AN appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 9 Woe to him that coveteth AN evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! --MORE-- |
