HEBREWS 2
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received A just recompence of reward;
4 God ALSO bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
6 But one in A certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
7 Thou madest him A little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
9 But we see Jesus, who was made A little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he ALSO himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be A merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

HEBREWS 4
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, A promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
4 For he spake in A certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
7 Again, he limiteth A certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long A time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
9 There remaineth therefore A rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he ALSO hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is A discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
14 Seeing then that we have A great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
HEBREWS 5
2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself ALSO is compassed with infirmity.
3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so ALSO for himself, to offer for sins.

HEBREWS 8
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat ALSO to offer.
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be A priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
6 But now hath he obtained A more excellent ministry, by how much ALSO he is the mediator of A better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make A new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them A God, and they shall be to me A people:
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
HEBREWS 9
1 Then verily the first covenant had ALSO ordinances of divine service, and A worldly sanctuary.
2 For there was A tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
9 Which was A figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by A greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
16 For where A testament is, there must ALSO of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For A testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
