MARK 15 43 Joseph of Arimathaea, AN honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus. LUKE 1 11 And there appeared unto him AN angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am AN old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 69 And hath raised up AN horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; LUKE 2 36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with AN husband seven years from her virginity; LUKE 4 5 And the devil, taking him up into AN high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of AN unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, LUKE 5 36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon AN old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. LUKE 6 3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was AN hungred, and they which were with him; 7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find AN accusation against him. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and AN evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 48 He is like a man which built AN house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built AN house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. LUKE 12 1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together AN innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at AN hour when ye think not. 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at AN hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. LUKE 14 5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have AN ass or AN ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth AN ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
