ISAIAH 28 23 GIVE ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech. ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 20 And though the Lord GIVE you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 23 Then shall he GIVE the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 32 9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; GIVE ear unto my speech. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 36 8 Now therefore GIVE pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I will GIVE thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them. ISAIAH 41 27 The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will GIVE to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings. ISAIAH 42 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and GIVE thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not GIVE to another, neither my praise to graven images. 12 Let them GIVE glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. 23 Who among you will GIVE ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? ISAIAH 43 4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I GIVE men for thee, and people for thy life. 6 I will say to the north, GIVE up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I GIVE waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to GIVE drink to my people, my chosen. ISAIAH 45 3 And I will GIVE thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. ISAIAH 48 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not GIVE my glory unto another. 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 49 6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also GIVE thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. 8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and GIVE thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; 20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: GIVE place to me that I may dwell. ISAIAH 51 4 Hearken unto me, my people; and GIVE ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 55 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may GIVE seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: ISAIAH 56 5 Even unto them will I GIVE in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will GIVE them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. ISAIAH 60 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon GIVE light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. ISAIAH 61 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to GIVE unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. ISAIAH 62 7 And GIVE him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more GIVE thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: JEREMIAH 3 15 And I will GIVE you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and GIVE thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me. JEREMIAH 4 12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I GIVE sentence against them. 16 Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and GIVE out their voice against the cities of Judah. 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. 10 To whom shall I speak, and GIVE warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. JEREMIAH 8 10 Therefore will I GIVE their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. JEREMIAH 9 15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and GIVE them water of gall to drink. JEREMIAH 11 5 That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to GIVE them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD. JEREMIAH 13 15 Hear ye, and GIVE ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken. 16 GIVE glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. JEREMIAH 14 13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will GIVE you assured peace in this place. 22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens GIVE showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things. JEREMIAH 15 13 Thy substance and thy treasures will I GIVE to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders. JEREMIAH 16 7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men GIVE them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. JEREMIAH 17 3 O my mountain in the field, I will GIVE thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders. 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to GIVE every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. JEREMIAH 18 18 Then said they, Come and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not GIVE heed to any of his words. 19 GIVE heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. --MORE-- |
