LUKE 22 29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my FATHER hath appointed unto me; 42 Saying, FATHER, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. LUKE 23 34 Then said Jesus, FATHER, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, FATHER, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. LUKE 24 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my FATHER upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. JOHN 1 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth. 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the FATHER, he hath declared him. JOHN 3 35 The FATHER loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. JOHN 4 12 Art thou greater than our FATHER Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the FATHER. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the FATHER in spirit and in truth: for the FATHER seeketh such to worship him. 53 So the FATHER knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. JOHN 5 17 But Jesus answered them, My FATHER worketh hitherto, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his FATHER, making himself equal with God. 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the FATHER do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the FATHER loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the FATHER raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the FATHER judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the FATHER. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the FATHER which hath sent him. 26 For as the FATHER hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the FATHER which hath sent me. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the FATHER hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the FATHER hath sent me. 37 And the FATHER himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 43 I am come in my FATHER's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the FATHER: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. JOHN 6 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the FATHER sealed. 32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my FATHER giveth you the true bread from heaven. 37 All that the FATHER giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 39 And this is the FATHER's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose FATHER and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? 44 No man can come to me, except the FATHER which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the FATHER, cometh unto me. 46 Not that any man hath seen the FATHER, save he which is of God, he hath seen the FATHER. 57 As the living FATHER hath sent me, and I live by the FATHER: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my FATHER. JOHN 8 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the FATHER that sent me. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the FATHER that sent me beareth witness of me. 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy FATHER? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my FATHER: if ye had known me, ye should have known my FATHER also. 27 They understood not that he spake to them of the FATHER. 28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my FATHER hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the FATHER hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my FATHER: and ye do that which ye have seen with your FATHER. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our FATHER. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your FATHER. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one FATHER, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your FATHER, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 44 Ye are of your FATHER the devil, and the lusts of your FATHER ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the FATHER of it. 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my FATHER, and ye do dishonour me. 53 Art thou greater than our FATHER Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my FATHER that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 56 Your FATHER Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. --MORE-- |
