DEUTERONOMY 13 1 If there ARISE among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go AFTER other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 4 Ye shall walk AFTER the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. DEUTERONOMY 14 13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture AFTER his kind, 14 And every raven AFTER his kind, 15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk AFTER his kind, 18 And the stork, and the heron AFTER her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth AFTER, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, DEUTERONOMY 16 13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, AFTER that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: DEUTERONOMY 17 8 If there ARISE a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou ARISE, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose; DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. 9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do AFTER the abominations of those nations. DEUTERONOMY 20 18 That they teach you not to do AFTER all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God. DEUTERONOMY 21 13 And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and AFTER that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. DEUTERONOMY 22 2 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek AFTER it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. DEUTERONOMY 24 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, AFTER that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. 9 Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, AFTER that ye were come forth out of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 28 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go AFTER other gods to serve them. DEUTERONOMY 29 22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up AFTER you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; DEUTERONOMY 31 16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring AFTER the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more AFTER my death? 29 For I know that AFTER my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. JOSHUA 1 1 Now AFTER the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, 2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore ARISE, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. JOSHUA 2 5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue AFTER them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. 7 And the men pursued AFTER them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued AFTER them were gone out, they shut the gate. JOSHUA 3 2 And it came to pass AFTER three days, that the officers went through the host; 3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go AFTER it. JOSHUA 5 4 And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, AFTER they came out of Egypt. 11 And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow AFTER the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. 12 And the manna ceased on the morrow AFTER they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. JOSHUA 6 9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came AFTER the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. 13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came AFTER the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. 15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city AFTER the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. JOSHUA 7 25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, AFTER they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 1 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and ARISE, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land: 6 (For they will come out AFTER us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them. 16 And all the people that were in Ai were called together to pursue AFTER them: and they pursued AFTER Joshua, and were drawn away from the city. 17 And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel, that went not out AFTER Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued AFTER Israel. JOSHUA 9 16 And it came to pass at the end of three days AFTER they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them. JOSHUA 10 14 And there was no day like that before it or AFTER it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. 19 And stay ye not, but pursue AFTER your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities: for the LORD your God hath delivered them into your hand. JOSHUA 13 23 And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben AFTER their families, the cities and the villages thereof. 28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad AFTER their families, the cities, and their villages. JOSHUA 19 47 And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, AFTER the name of Dan their father. JOSHUA 20 5 And if the avenger of blood pursue AFTER him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime. JOSHUA 22 27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations AFTER us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. JOSHUA 23 1 And it came to pass a long time AFTER that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age. JOSHUA 24 6 And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued AFTER your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, AFTER that he hath done you good. 29 And it came to pass AFTER these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. --MORE-- |
