SONG OF SOLOMON 5 1 I am come into my GARDEN, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved. SONG OF SOLOMON 6 2 My beloved is gone down into his GARDEN, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. 11 I went down into the GARDEN of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded. ISAIAH 1 8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a GARDEN of cucumbers, as a besieged city. 30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a GARDEN that hath no water. EZEKIEL 20 46 Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the FOREST of the south field; 47 And say to the FOREST of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. EZEKIEL 28 13 Thou hast been in Eden the GARDEN of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. EZEKIEL 31 8 The cedars in the GARDEN of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the GARDEN of God was like unto him in his beauty. 9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the GARDEN of God, envied him. EZEKIEL 36 35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the GARDEN of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. HOSEA 2 12 And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a FOREST, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
