16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may APPEAR unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

MATTHEW 23
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed APPEAR beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly APPEAR righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
MATTHEW 24
30 And then shall APPEAR the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
LUKE 3
25 Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of AMOS, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,
LUKE 11
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which APPEAR not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
LUKE 16
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
LUKE 19
11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately APPEAR.

30 On the morrow, because he would have known the certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him from his bands, and commanded the chief priests and all their council to APPEAR, and brought Paul down, and set him before them.
ACTS 26
16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will APPEAR unto thee;

13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might APPEAR sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

2 CORINTHIANS 7
12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might APPEAR unto you.
2 CORINTHIANS 13
