ISAIAH 44 7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ANCIENT people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. ISAIAH 45 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ANCIENT time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. ISAIAH 46 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ANCIENT times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ISAIAH 47 6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ANCIENT hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. ISAIAH 51 9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ANCIENT days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? JEREMIAH 5 15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ANCIENT nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say. JEREMIAH 18 15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ANCIENT paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up; EZEKIEL 9 6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ANCIENT men which were before the house. EZEKIEL 36 2 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ANCIENT high places are ours in possession: DANIEL 7 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ANCIENT of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the ANCIENT of days, and they brought him near before him. 22 Until the ANCIENT of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. AMOS 1 1 The words of AMOS, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. AMOS 7 8 And the LORD said unto me, AMOS, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more: 10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, AMOS hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words. 11 For thus AMOS saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land. 12 Also Amaziah said unto AMOS, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: 14 Then answered AMOS, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: AMOS 8 2 And he said, AMOS, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. LUKE 3 25 Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of AMOS, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge, LUKE 16 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. --END-- |
