PROVERBS 20 4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and HAVE nothing. 9 Who can say, I HAVE made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? PROVERBS 22 19 That thy trust may be in the LORD, I HAVE made known to thee this day, even to thee. 20 HAVE not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, 28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers HAVE set. PROVERBS 23 24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall HAVE joy of him. 35 They HAVE stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they HAVE beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. PROVERBS 24 23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to HAVE respect of persons in judgment. PROVERBS 25 7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes HAVE seen. PROVERBS 27 27 And thou shalt HAVE goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens. PROVERBS 28 1 The wicked FLEE when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. 10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall HAVE good things in possession. 13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall HAVE mercy. 17 A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall FLEE to the pit; let no man stay him. 19 He that tilleth his land shall HAVE plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall HAVE poverty enough. 21 To HAVE respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress. 27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall HAVE many a curse. PROVERBS 29 21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall HAVE him become his son at the length. PROVERBS 30 2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and HAVE not the understanding of a man. 3 I neither learned wisdom, nor HAVE the knowledge of the holy. 7 Two things HAVE I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: 20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I HAVE done no wickedness. 27 The locusts HAVE no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; PROVERBS 31 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall HAVE no need of spoil. 29 Many daughters HAVE done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. ECCLESIASTES 1 14 I HAVE seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. 16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and HAVE gotten more wisdom than all they that HAVE been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge. ECCLESIASTES 2 19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he HAVE rule over all my labour wherein I HAVE laboured, and wherein I HAVE shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity. ECCLESIASTES 3 10 I HAVE seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they HAVE all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. ECCLESIASTES 4 9 Two are better than one; because they HAVE a good reward for their labour. 11 Again, if two lie together, then they HAVE heat: but how can one be warm alone? 16 There is no end of all the people, even of all that HAVE been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit. ECCLESIASTES 5 13 There is a sore evil which I HAVE seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. 18 Behold that which I HAVE seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion. ECCLESIASTES 6 1 There is an evil which I HAVE seen under the sun, and it is common among men: 3 If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he HAVE no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he. ECCLESIASTES 7 12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that HAVE it. 15 All things HAVE I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. 23 All this HAVE I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me. 27 Behold, this HAVE I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account: 28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand HAVE I found; but a woman among all those HAVE I not found. 29 Lo, this only HAVE I found, that God hath made man upright; but they HAVE sought out many inventions. ECCLESIASTES 8 9 All this HAVE I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt. ECCLESIASTES 9 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither HAVE they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither HAVE they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. 13 This wisdom HAVE I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me: ECCLESIASTES 10 5 There is an evil which I HAVE seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: 7 I HAVE seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. ECCLESIASTES 12 1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I HAVE no pleasure in them; --MORE-- |
