ISAIAH 22 3 All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which HAVE fled from far. 9 Ye HAVE seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. 10 And ye HAVE numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses HAVE ye broken down to fortify the wall. 11 Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye HAVE not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. ISAIAH 23 2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, HAVE replenished. 12 And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou HAVE no rest. ISAIAH 24 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they HAVE transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 16 From the uttermost part of the earth HAVE we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers HAVE dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers HAVE dealt very treacherously. ISAIAH 25 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we HAVE waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we HAVE waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. ISAIAH 26 1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We HAVE a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. 8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, HAVE we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. 9 With my soul HAVE I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. 13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee HAVE had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. 16 LORD, in trouble HAVE they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them. 17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so HAVE we been in thy sight, O LORD. 18 We HAVE been with child, we HAVE been in pain, we HAVE as it were brought forth wind; we HAVE not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither HAVE the inhabitants of the world fallen. ISAIAH 27 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not HAVE mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 28 7 But they also HAVE erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet HAVE erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 15 Because ye HAVE said, We HAVE made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we HAVE made lies our refuge, and under falsehood HAVE we hid ourselves: 22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I HAVE heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. ISAIAH 29 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but HAVE removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: ISAIAH 30 2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and HAVE not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore HAVE I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still. 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may HAVE mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. 29 Ye shall HAVE a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel. ISAIAH 31 6 Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel HAVE deeply revolted. 7 For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands HAVE made unto you for a sin. 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 33 2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we HAVE waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. 13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I HAVE done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 36 5 I say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I HAVE counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me? 19 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and HAVE they delivered Samaria out of my hand? 20 Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that HAVE delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand? ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria HAVE blasphemed me. 11 Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria HAVE done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered? 12 HAVE the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers HAVE destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar? 18 Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria HAVE laid waste all the nations, and their countries, 19 And HAVE cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they HAVE destroyed them. 25 I HAVE digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet HAVE I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places. 26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I HAVE done it; and of ancient times, that I HAVE formed it? now HAVE I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. ISAIAH 38 3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I HAVE walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and HAVE done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I HAVE heard thy prayer, I HAVE seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I HAVE cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. ISAIAH 39 4 Then said he, What HAVE they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house HAVE they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I HAVE not shewed them. 6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers HAVE laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 40 21 HAVE ye not known? HAVE ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? HAVE ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that HAVE no might he increaseth strength. --MORE-- |
