ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria HAVE blasphemed me. 11 Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria HAVE done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered? 12 HAVE the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers HAVE destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar? 18 Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria HAVE laid waste all the nations, and their countries, 19 And HAVE cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they HAVE destroyed them. 25 I HAVE digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet HAVE I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places. 26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I HAVE done it; and of ancient times, that I HAVE formed it? now HAVE I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. ISAIAH 38 3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I HAVE walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and HAVE done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I HAVE heard thy prayer, I HAVE seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I HAVE cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. ISAIAH 39 4 Then said he, What HAVE they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house HAVE they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I HAVE not shewed them. 6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers HAVE laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 40 21 HAVE ye not known? HAVE ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? HAVE ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that HAVE no might he increaseth strength. ISAIAH 41 8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I HAVE chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. 9 Thou whom I HAVE taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I HAVE chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 25 I HAVE raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay. ISAIAH 42 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I HAVE put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he HAVE set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 6 I the LORD HAVE called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 14 I HAVE long time holden my peace; I HAVE been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. 16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they HAVE not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we HAVE sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. ISAIAH 43 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I HAVE redeemed thee, I HAVE called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I HAVE loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I HAVE created him for my glory, I HAVE formed him; yea, I HAVE made him. 8 Bring forth the blind people that HAVE eyes, and the deaf that HAVE ears. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I HAVE chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 12 I HAVE declared, and HAVE saved, and I HAVE shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. 14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I HAVE sent to Babylon, and HAVE brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. 21 This people HAVE I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. 23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I HAVE not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. 27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers HAVE transgressed against me. 28 Therefore I HAVE profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and HAVE given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches. ISAIAH 44 1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I HAVE chosen: 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I HAVE chosen. 8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: HAVE not I told thee from that time, and HAVE declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I HAVE seen the fire: 18 They HAVE not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand. 19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I HAVE burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I HAVE baked bread upon the coals thereof; I HAVE roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? 21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I HAVE formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. 22 I HAVE blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I HAVE redeemed thee. ISAIAH 45 1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I HAVE holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; 4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I HAVE even called thee by thy name: I HAVE surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. 8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD HAVE created it. 12 I HAVE made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, HAVE stretched out the heavens, and all their host HAVE I commanded. 13 I HAVE raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts. 19 I HAVE not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. 20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they HAVE no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? HAVE not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 23 I HAVE sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD HAVE I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. --MORE-- |
