EZEKIEL 31 11 I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the HEATHEN; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness. 17 They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the HEATHEN. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the HEATHEN, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. 29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the HEATHEN any more. EZEKIEL 36 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the HEATHEN, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: 4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the HEATHEN that are round about; 5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the HEATHEN, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the HEATHEN: 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the HEATHEN that are about you, they shall bear their shame. 15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the HEATHEN any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD. 19 And I scattered them among the HEATHEN, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them. 20 And when they entered unto the HEATHEN, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land. 21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the HEATHEN, whither they went. 22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the HEATHEN, whither ye went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the HEATHEN, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the HEATHEN shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the HEATHEN, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the HEATHEN. 36 Then the HEATHEN that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. EZEKIEL 37 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the HEATHEN, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 28 And the HEATHEN shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore. EZEKIEL 38 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the HEATHEN may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. EZEKIEL 39 7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the HEATHEN shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 21 And I will set my glory among the HEATHEN, and all the HEATHEN shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 23 And the HEATHEN shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the HEATHEN: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. JOEL 2 17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the HEATHEN should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? 19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the HEATHEN: JOEL 3 11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye HEATHEN, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. 12 Let the HEATHEN be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the HEATHEN round about. AMOS 2 16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall FLEE away naked in that day, saith the LORD. OBADIAH 1 1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the HEATHEN, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. 2 Behold, I have made thee small among the HEATHEN: thou art greatly despised. 15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the HEATHEN: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. 16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the HEATHEN drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. JONAH 1 3 But Jonah rose up to FLEE unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. MICAH 5 15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the HEATHEN, such as they have not heard. NAHUM 2 8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall FLEE away. HABAKKUK 1 5 Behold ye among the HEATHEN, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you. HABAKKUK 3 12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the HEATHEN in anger. ZEPHANIAH 2 11 The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the HEATHEN. HAGGAI 2 22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the HEATHEN; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. ZECHARIAH 1 15 And I am very sore displeased with the HEATHEN that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction. ZECHARIAH 2 6 Ho, ho, come forth, and FLEE from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. ZECHARIAH 8 13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the HEATHEN, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. --MORE-- |
