ISAIAH 15 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall FLEE unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 16 8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the HEATHEN have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea. ISAIAH 20 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 48 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 51 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. JEREMIAH 4 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. JEREMIAH 9 16 I will scatter them also among the HEATHEN, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them. JEREMIAH 10 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the HEATHEN, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the HEATHEN are dismayed at them. 25 Pour out thy fury upon the HEATHEN that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate. JEREMIAH 18 13 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the HEATHEN, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing. JEREMIAH 25 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to FLEE, nor the principal of the flock to escape. JEREMIAH 46 6 Let not the swift FLEE away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates. JEREMIAH 48 6 FLEE, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness. 9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may FLEE and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein. JEREMIAH 49 8 FLEE ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. 14 I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the HEATHEN, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle. 15 For, lo, I will make thee small among the HEATHEN, and despised among men. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to FLEE, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 30 FLEE, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. JEREMIAH 50 16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall FLEE every one to his own land. 28 The voice of them that FLEE and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple. JEREMIAH 51 6 FLEE out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. LAMENTATIONS 1 3 Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the HEATHEN, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. 10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the HEATHEN entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. LAMENTATIONS 4 15 They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the HEATHEN, They shall no more sojourn there. 20 The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the HEATHEN. EZEKIEL 7 24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the HEATHEN, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled. EZEKIEL 11 12 And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the HEATHEN that are round about you. 16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the HEATHEN, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. EZEKIEL 12 16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the HEATHEN whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 16 14 And thy renown went forth among the HEATHEN for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 20 9 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the HEATHEN, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt. 14 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the HEATHEN, in whose sight I brought them out. 22 Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the HEATHEN, in whose sight I brought them forth. 23 I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the HEATHEN, and disperse them through the countries; 32 And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the HEATHEN, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. 41 I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the HEATHEN. EZEKIEL 22 4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the HEATHEN, and a mocking to all countries. 15 And I will scatter thee among the HEATHEN, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. 16 And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the HEATHEN, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 23 30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the HEATHEN, and because thou art polluted with their idols. EZEKIEL 25 7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the HEATHEN; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. 8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the HEATHEN; EZEKIEL 28 25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the HEATHEN, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. --MORE-- |
