1 CORINTHIANS 3
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: FOR hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 FOR ye are yet carnal: FOR whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4 FOR while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
9 FOR we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
11 FOR other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: FOR the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; FOR the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
19 FOR the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. FOR it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. FOR all things are your's;
1 CORINTHIANS 4
4 FOR I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos FOR your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up FOR one against another.
7 FOR who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
9 FOR I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: FOR we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 We are fools FOR Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
15 FOR though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: FOR in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
17 FOR this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
20 FOR the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
1 CORINTHIANS 5
3 FOR I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan FOR the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. FOR even Christ our passover is sacrificed FOR us:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; FOR then must ye needs go out of the world.
12 FOR what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
1 CORINTHIANS 6
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful FOR me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13 Meats FOR the belly, and the belly FOR meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not FOR fornication, but FOR the Lord; and the Lord FOR the body.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? FOR two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
18 FLEE fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
20 FOR ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 CORINTHIANS 7
1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good FOR a man not to touch a woman.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent FOR a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not FOR your incontinency.
7 FOR I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good FOR them if they abide even as I.
9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: FOR it is better to marry than to burn.
14 FOR the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
16 FOR what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
21 Art thou called being a servant? care not FOR it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
22 FOR he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
26 I suppose therefore that this is good FOR the present distress, I say, that it is good FOR a man so to be.
31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: FOR the fashion of this world passeth away.
32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth FOR the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
33 But he that is married careth FOR the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth FOR the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth FOR the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 And this I speak FOR your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but FOR that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
1 CORINTHIANS 8
5 FOR though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: FOR some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: FOR neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
10 FOR if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, FOR whom Christ died?
1 CORINTHIANS 9
2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: FOR the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
9 FOR it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care FOR oxen?
10 Or saith he it altogether FOR our sakes? FOR our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
15 But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: FOR it were better FOR me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
16 FOR though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: FOR necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
17 FOR if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
19 FOR though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
23 And this I do FOR the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
25 And every man that striveth FOR the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
