2 CORINTHIANS 2
2 FOR if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
4 FOR out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
9 FOR to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: FOR if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, FOR your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: FOR we are not ignorant of his devices.
15 FOR we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient FOR these things?
17 FOR we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
2 CORINTHIANS 3
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: FOR the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses FOR the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
9 FOR if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 FOR even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11 FOR if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
14 But their minds were blinded: FOR until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2 CORINTHIANS 4
5 FOR we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants FOR Jesus' sake.
6 FOR God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
11 FOR we which live are alway delivered unto death FOR Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
15 FOR all things are FOR your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 FOR which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 FOR our light affliction, which is but FOR a moment, worketh FOR us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: FOR the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 CORINTHIANS 5
1 FOR we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 FOR in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
4 FOR we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not FOR that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us FOR the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
7 (FOR we walk by faith, not by sight:)
10 FOR we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
12 FOR we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13 FOR whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is FOR your cause.
14 FOR the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died FOR all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died FOR all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died FOR them, and rose again.
20 Now then we are ambassadors FOR Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 FOR he hath made him to be sin FOR us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 CORINTHIANS 6
2 (FOR he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
13 Now FOR a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: FOR what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? FOR ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2 CORINTHIANS 7
3 I speak not this to condemn you: FOR I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.
5 FOR, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
8 FOR though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: FOR I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but FOR a season.
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: FOR ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
10 FOR godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 FOR behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not FOR his cause that had done the wrong, nor FOR his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care FOR you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we FOR the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.
14 FOR if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
2 CORINTHIANS 8
3 FOR to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
9 FOR ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet FOR your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
10 And herein I give my advice: FOR this is expedient FOR you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
12 FOR if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
13 FOR I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply FOR their want, that their abundance also may be a supply FOR your want: that there may be equality:
16 But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus FOR you.
17 FOR indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
21 Providing FOR honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
