PSALM 74 1 O God, why hast thou cast us off FOR ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture? 4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns FOR signs. 10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name FOR ever? 12 FOR God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. 19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor FOR ever. 20 Have respect unto the covenant: FOR the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. PSALM 85 5 Wilt thou be angry with us FOR ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? 8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: FOR he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. PSALM 86 1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: FOR I am poor and needy. 2 Preserve my soul; FOR I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. 3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: FOR I cry unto thee daily. 4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: FOR unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. 5 FOR thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. 7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: FOR thou wilt answer me. 10 FOR thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. 12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name FOR evermore. 13 FOR great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. 17 Shew me a token FOR good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me. --MORE-- |
