LUKE 21 4 FOR all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. 6 As FOR these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: FOR many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: FOR these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers FOR my name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you FOR a testimony. 15 FOR I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men FOR my name's sake. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea FLEE to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 FOR these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! FOR there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 26 Men's hearts failing them FOR fear, and FOR looking after those things which are coming on the earth: FOR the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; FOR your redemption draweth nigh. 35 FOR as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, FOR to hear him. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 41 And we indeed justly; FOR we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited FOR the kingdom of God. LUKE 24 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: FOR it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; FOR a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 41 And while they yet believed not FOR joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? JOHN 1 7 The same came FOR a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: FOR he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace FOR grace. 17 FOR the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: FOR he was before me. 39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: FOR it was about the tenth hour. JOHN 2 25 And needed not that any should testify of man: FOR he knew what was in man. JOHN 3 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: FOR no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 16 FOR God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 FOR God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 20 FOR every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 24 FOR John was not yet cast into prison. 34 FOR he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: FOR God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. --MORE-- |
