EXODUS 32 26 Then Moses stood in the GATE of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. EXODUS 39 1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy GARMENTS for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses. 40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court GATE, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation, 41 The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy GARMENTS for Aaron the priest, and his sons' GARMENTS, to minister in the priest's office. EXODUS 40 8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court GATE. 13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy GARMENTS, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court GATE. LEVITICUS 16 4 He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy GARMENTS; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on. 23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen GARMENTS, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there: 24 And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his GARMENTS, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people. 32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy GARMENTS: LEVITICUS 21 10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the GARMENTS, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes; NUMBERS 4 26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the GATE of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve. NUMBERS 15 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their GARMENTS throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: NUMBERS 20 26 And strip Aaron of his GARMENTS, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. 28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his GARMENTS, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 25 7 And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the GATE unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother. JOSHUA 2 5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the GATE, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. 7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the GATE. JOSHUA 20 4 And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the GATE of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. JUDGES 9 35 And Gaal the son of Ebed went out, and stood in the entering of the GATE of the city: and Abimelech rose up, and the people that were with him, from lying in wait. 40 And Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and wounded, even unto the entering of the GATE. 44 And Abimelech, and the company that was with him, rushed forward, and stood in the entering of the GATE of the city: and the two other companies ran upon all the people that were in the fields, and slew them. JUDGES 14 12 And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of GARMENTS: 13 But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of GARMENTS. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it. 19 And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of GARMENTS unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house. JUDGES 16 2 And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the GATE of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him. 3 And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the GATE of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron. --MORE-- |
