EZEKIEL 27 2 Now, thou son of man, take up A lamentation for Tyrus; 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art A merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for A present horns of ivory and ebony. 32 And in their wailing they shall take up A lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? 36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be A terror, and never shalt be any more. EZEKIEL 28 2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am A God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art A man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: 9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be A man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. 12 Son of man, take up A lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth A fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be A terror, and never shalt thou be any more. 24 And there shall be no more A pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 29 6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been A staff of reed to the house of Israel. 7 When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at A stand. 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring A sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. 14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there A base kingdom. 18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve A great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: EZEKIEL 30 3 For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, A cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. 8 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set A fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed. 13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more A prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put A fear in the land of Egypt. 18 At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, A cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. 21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put A roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. 24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of A deadly wounded man. EZEKIEL 31 3 Behold, the Assyrian was A cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with A shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs. 15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused A mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. EZEKIEL 32 2 Son of man, take up A lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like A young lion of the nations, and thou art as A whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers. 3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with A company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net. 7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with A cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. 25 They have set her A bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain. EZEKIEL 33 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon A land, if the people of the land take A man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee A watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 32 And, lo, thou art unto them as A very lovely song of one that hath A pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. 33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that A prophet hath been among them. EZEKIEL 34 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became A prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; 12 As A shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. 14 I will feed them in A good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in A good fold, and in A fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. 18 Seemeth it A small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? 22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be A prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David A prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. 25 And I will make with them A covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill A blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. 28 And they shall no more be A prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. 29 And I will raise up for them A plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. EZEKIEL 35 5 Because thou hast had A perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: EZEKIEL 36 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be A possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: 4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became A prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; 5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for A prey. 17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of A removed woman. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and A new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like A flock. EZEKIEL 37 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was A noise, and behold A shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 26 Moreover I will make A covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. --MORE-- |
