MATTHEW 19 3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for A man to put away his wife for every cause? 5 And said, For this cause shall A man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give A writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That A rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for A camel to go through the eye of A needle, than for A rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. MATTHEW 20 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto A man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for A penny A day, he sent them into his vineyard. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man A penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man A penny. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for A penny? 20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring A certain thing of him. 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life A ransom for many. 29 And as they departed from Jericho, A great multitude followed him. MATTHEW 21 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and A colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and A colt the foal of an ass. 8 And A very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it A den of thieves. 19 And when he saw A fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as A prophet. 28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 33 Hear another parable: There was A certain householder, which planted A vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged A winepress in it, and built A tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into A far country: 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to A nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for A prophet. MATTHEW 22 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto A certain king, which made A marriage for his son, 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there A man which had not on A wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having A wedding garment? And he was speechless. 19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him A penny. 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If A man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married A wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 35 Then one of them, which was A lawyer, asked him A question, tempting him, and saying, 46 And no man was able to answer him A word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. MATTHEW 23 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for A pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is A debtor! 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at A gnat, and swallow A camel. 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as A hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! MATTHEW 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for A witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 16 Then let them which be in Judaea FLEE into the mountains: 31 And he shall send his angels with A great sound of A trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn A parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 45 Who then is A faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 50 The lord of that servant shall come in A day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, MATTHEW 25 6 And at midnight there was A cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as A man travelling into A far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 19 After A long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over A few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over A few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as A shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was A stranger, and ye took me in: 38 When saw we thee A stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 43 I was A stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or A stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? --MORE-- |
