LUKE 24 13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to A village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. 18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only A stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? 19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was A prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen A vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 29 But they constrained him, saying, ABIDE with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen A spirit. 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for A spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 42 And they gave him A piece of A broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. JOHN 1 6 There was A man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for A witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh A man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like A dove, and it abode upon him. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. JOHN 2 1 And the third day there was A marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 15 And when he had made A scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; JOHN 3 1 There was A man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, A ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art A teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except A man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can A man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except A man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou A master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 25 Then there arose A question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. JOHN 4 5 Then cometh he to A city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 7 There cometh A woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being A Jew, askest drink of me, which am A woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him A well of water springing up into everlasting life. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art A prophet. 24 God is A Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 29 Come, see A man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 44 For Jesus himself testified, that A prophet hath no honour in his own country. 46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was A certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. JOHN 5 1 After this there was A feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market A pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay A great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at A certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And A certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now A long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, A multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest A worse thing come unto thee. 35 He was A burning and A shining light: and ye were willing for A season to rejoice in his light. JOHN 6 2 And A great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. 3 And Jesus went up into A mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. 4 And the passover, A feast of the Jews, was nigh. 5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw A great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take A little. 9 There is A lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? 14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of A truth that prophet that should come into the world. 15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him A king, he departed again into A mountain himself alone. 17 And entered into A ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. 18 And the sea arose by reason of A great wind that blew. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that A man may eat thereof, and not die. 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is A devil? --MORE-- |
