NUMBERS 4 4 This shall be the SERVICE of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, ABOUT the most holy things: 14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister ABOUT it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it. 19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his SERVICE and to his burden: 23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the SERVICE, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. 24 This is the SERVICE of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens: 26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round ABOUT, and their cords, and all the instruments of their SERVICE, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve. 27 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the SERVICE of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their SERVICE: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens. 28 This is the SERVICE of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. 30 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the SERVICE, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation. 31 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof, 32 And the pillars of the court round ABOUT, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their SERVICE: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden. 33 This is the SERVICE of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their SERVICE, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. 35 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the SERVICE, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation: 37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 39 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the SERVICE, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation, 41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD. 43 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the SERVICE, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation, 47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the SERVICE of the ministry, and the SERVICE of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation. 49 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his SERVICE, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses. NUMBERS 7 5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his SERVICE. 7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their SERVICE: 8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their SERVICE, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. 9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the SERVICE of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders. NUMBERS 8 11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the SERVICE of the LORD. 15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering. 19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the SERVICE of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. 22 And after that went the Levites in to do their SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them. 24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation: 25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the SERVICE thereof, and shall serve no more: 26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no SERVICE. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge. NUMBERS 11 8 And the people went ABOUT, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil. 24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round ABOUT the tabernacle. 31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round ABOUT the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth. 32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round ABOUT the camp. NUMBERS 12 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? NUMBERS 16 9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? 24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from ABOUT the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. 34 And all Israel that were round ABOUT them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. 49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died ABOUT the matter of Korah. NUMBERS 18 4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the SERVICE of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you. 6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7 Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a SERVICE of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. 21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their SERVICE which they serve, even the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation. 23 But the Levites shall do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. 31 And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation. NUMBERS 22 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. 4 And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round ABOUT us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time. NUMBERS 32 33 And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round ABOUT. NUMBERS 34 12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round ABOUT. NUMBERS 35 2 Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round ABOUT them. 4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round ABOUT. --MORE-- |
