DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. Thus shalt thou do six days. 11 So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going ABOUT it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. 15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early ABOUT the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. JOSHUA 7 3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let ABOUT two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few. 4 So there went up thither of the people ABOUT three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai. 5 And the men of Ai smote of them ABOUT thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water. JOSHUA 8 12 And he took ABOUT five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 10 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down ABOUT a whole day. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow ABOUT this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 15 12 And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round ABOUT according to their families. JOSHUA 16 6 And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went ABOUT eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah; JOSHUA 18 20 And Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round ABOUT, according to their families. JOSHUA 19 8 And all the villages that were round ABOUT these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. JOSHUA 21 11 And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round ABOUT it. 42 These cities were every one with their suburbs round ABOUT them: thus were all these cities. 44 And the LORD gave them rest round ABOUT, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. JOSHUA 22 27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the SERVICE of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. JOSHUA 23 1 And it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round ABOUT, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age. JUDGES 2 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round ABOUT them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. 14 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round ABOUT, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies. JUDGES 3 29 And they slew of Moab at that time ABOUT ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man. JUDGES 9 49 And all the people likewise cut down every man his bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them to the hold, and set the hold on fire upon them; so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died also, ABOUT a thousand men and women. JUDGES 16 27 Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof ABOUT three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. JUDGES 17 2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, ABOUT which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son. JUDGES 19 22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round ABOUT, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him. 30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take ADVICE, and speak your minds. --MORE-- |
