2 CHRONICLES 29 21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven LAMBS, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD. 22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the LAMBS, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar. 32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred LAMBS: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 30 9 For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this LAND: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him. 25 And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the LAND of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced. 2 CHRONICLES 32 4 So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the LAND, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water? 21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. EZRA 4 4 Then the people of the LAND weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building, EZRA 6 9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and LAMBS, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred LAMBS; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. 21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the LAND, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat, EZRA 7 17 That thou mayest buy speedily with this money bullocks, rams, LAMBS, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem. EZRA 8 35 Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven LAMBS, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD. EZRA 9 11 Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The LAND, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean LAND with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness. 12 Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the LAND, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. EZRA 10 2 And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the LAND: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing. 11 Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the LAND, and from the strange wives. NEHEMIAH 4 4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the LAND of captivity: NEHEMIAH 5 14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the LAND of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor. 16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any LAND: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work. So didst thou get thee a name, as it is this day. 11 And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry LAND; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters. 15 And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the LAND which thou hadst sworn to give them. 22 Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the LAND of Sihon, and the LAND of the king of Heshbon, and the LAND of Og king of Bashan. 23 Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the LAND, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it. 24 So the children went in and possessed the LAND, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the LAND, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the LAND, that they might do with them as they would. 25 And they took strong cities, and a fat LAND, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness. 28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the LAND of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies; 35 For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat LAND which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works. 36 Behold, we are servants this day, and for the LAND that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it: NEHEMIAH 10 30 And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the LAND, not take their daughters for our sons: 31 And if the people of the LAND bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt. ESTHER 8 17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the LAND became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them. JOB 1 1 There was a man in the LAND of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the LAND. JOB 2 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his LIPS. JOB 8 21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy LIPS with rejoicing. JOB 10 21 Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the LAND of darkness and the shadow of death; 22 A LAND of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
