NEHEMIAH 9 8 And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the LAND of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous: 10 And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his LAND: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as it is this day. 11 And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry LAND; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters. 15 And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the LAND which thou hadst sworn to give them. 22 Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the LAND of Sihon, and the LAND of the king of Heshbon, and the LAND of Og king of Bashan. 23 Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the LAND, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it. 24 So the children went in and possessed the LAND, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the LAND, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the LAND, that they might do with them as they would. 25 And they took strong cities, and a fat LAND, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness. 28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the LAND of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies; 35 For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat LAND which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works. 36 Behold, we are servants this day, and for the LAND that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it: NEHEMIAH 10 30 And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the LAND, not take their daughters for our sons: 31 And if the people of the LAND bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt. ESTHER 8 17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the LAND became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them. JOB 10 21 Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the LAND of darkness and the shadow of death; 22 A LAND of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. JOB 11 5 But oh that God would speak, and open his LIPS against thee; JOB 12 18 He LOOSETH the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle. JOB 13 6 Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my LIPS. JOB 15 6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own LIPS testify against thee. JOB 16 5 But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my LIPS should asswage your grief. JOB 23 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his LIPS; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. JOB 27 4 My LIPS shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. JOB 28 13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the LAND of the living. JOB 31 38 If my LAND cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain; JOB 32 13 LEST ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man. 20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my LIPS and answer. JOB 33 3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my LIPS shall utter knowledge clearly. JOB 34 30 That the hypocrite reign not, LEST the people be ensnared. JOB 36 18 Because there is wrath, beware LEST he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee. JOB 39 6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren LAND his dwellings. JOB 42 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: LEST I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. 15 And in all the LAND were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. PSALM 2 12 Kiss the Son, LEST he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. PSALM 7 2 LEST he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. PSALM 10 16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his LAND. PSALM 12 2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering LIPS and with a double heart do they speak. 3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering LIPS, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: 4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our LIPS are our own: who is lord over us? PSALM 13 3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, LEST I sleep the sleep of death; 4 LEST mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. PSALM 16 4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my LIPS. PSALM 17 1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned LIPS. 4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy LIPS I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. PSALM 21 2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his LIPS. Selah.
