PROVERBS 23 16 Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy LIPS speak right things. PROVERBS 29 4 The king by judgment establisheth the LAND: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it. PROVERBS 30 6 Add thou not unto his words, LEST he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. 9 LEST I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or LEST I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. 10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, LEST he curse thee, and thou be found guilty. PROVERBS 31 5 LEST they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the LAND. ECCLESIASTES 7 21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; LEST thou hear thy servant curse thee: ECCLESIASTES 10 12 The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the LIPS of a fool will swallow up himself. 16 Woe to thee, O LAND, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! 17 Blessed art thou, O LAND, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! SONG OF SOLOMON 4 3 Thy LIPS are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks. 11 Thy LIPS, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. ISAIAH 1 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your LAND, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of LAMBS, or of he goats. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the LAND: ISAIAH 2 7 Their LAND also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their LAND is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots: 8 Their LAND also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: ISAIAH 5 17 Then shall the LAMBS feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat. 30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the LAND, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof. ISAIAH 6 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean LIPS, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean LIPS: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy LIPS; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; LEST they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the LAND be utterly desolate, 12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the LAND. ISAIAH 7 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the LAND that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. 18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the LAND of Assyria. 22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the LAND. 24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the LAND shall become briers and thorns. ISAIAH 9 1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the LAND of Zebulun and the LAND of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. 2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the LAND of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath LIGHTED upon Israel. 19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the LAND darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. --MORE-- |
