ISAIAH 23 1 The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the LAND of Chittim it is revealed to them. 10 Pass through thy LAND as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength. 13 Behold the LAND of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin. ISAIAH 24 3 The LAND shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the LAND is gone. 13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the LAND among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. ISAIAH 28 11 For with stammering LIPS and another tongue will he speak to this people. 22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, LEST your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. ISAIAH 34 6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of LAMBS and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the LAND of Idumea. 7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their LAND shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. 9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the LAND thereof shall become burning pitch. ISAIAH 35 7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty LAND springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. ISAIAH 36 10 And am I now come up without the LORD against this LAND to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this LAND, and destroy it. 17 Until I come and take you away to a LAND like your own LAND, a LAND of corn and wine, a LAND of bread and vineyards. 18 Beware LEST Hezekiah persuade you, saying, the LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his LAND out of the hand of the king of Assyria? 20 Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their LAND out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand? ISAIAH 37 7 Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own LAND; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own LAND. 29 Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy LIPS, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest. 38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the LAND of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. ISAIAH 38 11 I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the LAND of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. ISAIAH 40 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the LAMBS with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. ISAIAH 41 18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry LAND springs of water. ISAIAH 53 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the LAND of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. ISAIAH 57 13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the LAND, and shall inherit my holy mountain; 19 I create the fruit of the LIPS; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. ISAIAH 59 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your LIPS have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. ISAIAH 60 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy LAND, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the LAND for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. ISAIAH 61 7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their LAND they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. ISAIAH 62 4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy LAND any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy LAND Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy LAND shall be married. JEREMIAH 1 1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the LAND of Benjamin: 14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the LAND. 17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, LEST I confound thee before them. 18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole LAND, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the LAND. JEREMIAH 2 2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a LAND that was not sown. 6 Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the LAND of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a LAND of deserts and of pits, through a LAND of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a LAND that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my LAND, and made mine heritage an abomination. 15 The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his LAND waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant. 31 O generation, see ye the word of the LORD.
