LUKE 12 58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; LEST he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. LUKE 14 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the LAWYERS and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; LEST a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; 12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; LEST they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. 29 LEST haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 35 It is neither fit for the LAND, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. LUKE 16 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, LEST they also come into this place of torment. LUKE 18 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, LEST by her continual coming she weary me. LUKE 21 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the LAND, and wrath upon this people. 34 And take heed to yourselves, LEST at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. LUKE 22 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, LEST ye enter into temptation. JOHN 3 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, LEST his deeds should be reproved. 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the LAND of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. --MORE-- |
