NEHEMIAH 12 31 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung GATE: 37 And at the fountain GATE, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water GATE eastward. 39 And from above the GATE of Ephraim, and above the old GATE, and above the fish GATE, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep GATE: and they stood still in the prison GATE. ESTHER 3 2 And all the king's servants, that were in the king's GATE, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence. 3 Then the king's servants, which were in the king's GATE, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment? ESTHER 6 10 Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's GATE: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken. 12 And Mordecai came again to the king's GATE. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered. JOB 5 4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the GATE, neither is there any to deliver them. JOB 31 20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the FLEECE of my sheep; 21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the GATE: PSALM 18 2 The LORD is my rock, and my FORTRESS, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. PSALM 31 3 For thou art my rock and my FORTRESS; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. PSALM 69 12 They that sit in the GATE speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
