JEREMIAH 15 3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the FOWLS of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. JEREMIAH 16 4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the FOWLS of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 19 7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the FOWLS of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 26 24 Nevertheless the hand of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death. JEREMIAH 34 20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the FOWLS of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 39 14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people. JEREMIAH 40 5 Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. 6 Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land. 7 Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon; 9 And Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. 11 Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan; 14 And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM believed them not. 16 But Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael. JEREMIAH 41 1 Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah. 2 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land. 6 And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM. 10 Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites. 16 Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon: 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 43 6 Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of AHIKAM the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah. EZEKIEL 29 5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the FOWLS of the heaven. EZEKIEL 31 6 All the FOWLS of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations. 13 Upon his ruin shall all the FOWLS of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches: EZEKIEL 32 4 Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the FOWLS of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee. EZEKIEL 38 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the FOWLS of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. DANIEL 2 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the FOWLS of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. DANIEL 4 12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the FOWLS of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. 14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the FOWLS from his branches: 21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the FOWLS of the heaven had their habitation: HOSEA 2 18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the FOWLS of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. HOSEA 4 3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the FOWLS of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. HOSEA 7 12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the FOWLS of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard. HOSEA 10 14 Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy FORTRESSES shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children. ZEPHANIAH 1 3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the FOWLS of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD. MATTHEW 6 26 Behold the FOWLS of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? MATTHEW 13 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the FOWLS came and devoured them up: MARK 4 4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the FOWLS of the air came and devoured it up. 32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the FOWLS of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. LUKE 8 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the FOWLS of the air devoured it. LUKE 12 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the FOWLS? LUKE 13 19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the FOWLS of the air lodged in the branches of it. LUKE 16 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. ACTS 10 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and FOWLS of the air. ACTS 11 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and FOWLS of the air. REVELATION 19 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the FOWLS that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the FOWLS were filled with their flesh. --END-- |
