DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 21 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come FORTH, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: 10 When thou goest FORTH to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, DEUTERONOMY 22 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring FORTH the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: DEUTERONOMY 23 4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came FORTH out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 9 When the host goeth FORTH against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing. 12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go FORTH abroad: DEUTERONOMY 24 9 Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come FORTH out of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 25 11 When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth FORTH her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: 17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come FORTH out of Egypt; DEUTERONOMY 26 8 And the LORD brought us FORTH out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 29 8 And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the GADITES, and to the half tribe of Manasseh. 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them FORTH out of the land of Egypt: DEUTERONOMY 32 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that FORMED thee. DEUTERONOMY 33 2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined FORTH from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. 14 And for the precious fruits brought FORTH by the sun, and for the precious things put FORTH by the moon, JOSHUA 1 12 And to the Reubenites, and to the GADITES, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, JOSHUA 2 3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring FORTH the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. JOSHUA 5 5 Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came FORTH out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 9 Joshua therefore sent them FORTH: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 9 12 This our bread we took hot for our provision out of our houses on the day we came FORTH to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy: JOSHUA 10 23 And they did so, and brought FORTH those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. JOSHUA 12 6 Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the GADITES, and the half tribe of Manasseh. JOSHUA 13 8 With whom the Reubenites and the GADITES have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them; JOSHUA 18 11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came FORTH between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph. 17 And was drawn from the north, and went FORTH to Enshemesh, and went FORTH toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben, JOSHUA 19 1 And the second lot came FORTH to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah. JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. JOSHUA 22 1 Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the GADITES, and the half tribe of Manasseh, JUDGES 1 24 And the spies saw a man come FORTH out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy. JUDGES 3 21 And Ehud put FORTH his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly: 23 Then Ehud went FORTH through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlour upon him, and locked them. JUDGES 5 25 He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought FORTH butter in a lordly dish. 31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth FORTH in his might. And the land had rest forty years. JUDGES 6 8 That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you FORTH out of the house of bondage; 18 Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring FORTH my present, and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again. 21 Then the angel of the LORD put FORTH the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. --MORE-- |
