1 SAMUEL 6 6 Wherefore then do ye harden your HEARTS, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their HEARTS? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed? 1 SAMUEL 7 3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your HEARTS, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your HEARTS unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 9 19 And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine HEART. 1 SAMUEL 10 9 And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another HEART: and all those signs came to pass that day. 26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose HEARTS God had touched. 1 SAMUEL 12 20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your HEART; 24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your HEART: for consider how great things he hath done for you. 1 SAMUEL 13 14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own HEART, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. 1 SAMUEL 14 7 And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine HEART: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy HEART. 1 SAMUEL 16 7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the HEART. 1 SAMUEL 17 28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine HEART; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. 32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's HEART fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 1 SAMUEL 21 12 And David laid up these words in his HEART, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 24 5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's HEART smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt. 1 SAMUEL 25 31 That this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of HEART unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid. 36 And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's HEART was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light. 37 But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his HEART died within him, and he became as a stone. 1 SAMUEL 27 1 And David said in his HEART, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand. 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his HEART greatly trembled. 2 SAMUEL 3 21 And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine HEART desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in peace. 2 SAMUEL 6 16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her HEART. 2 SAMUEL 7 3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine HEART; for the LORD is with thee. 21 For thy word's sake, and according to thine own HEART, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. 27 For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his HEART to pray this prayer unto thee. 2 SAMUEL 13 28 Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's HEART is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant. 33 Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his HEART, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead. 2 SAMUEL 14 1 Now Joab the son of Zeruiah perceived that the king's HEART was toward Absalom. 2 SAMUEL 15 6 And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the HEARTS of the men of Israel. 13 And there came a messenger to David, saying, The HEARTS of the men of Israel are after Absalom. 2 SAMUEL 17 10 And he also that is valiant, whose HEART is as the HEART of a lion, shall utterly melt: for all Israel knoweth that thy father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men. 2 SAMUEL 18 14 Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the HEART of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak. 2 SAMUEL 19 14 And he bowed the HEART of all the men of Judah, even as the HEART of one man; so that they sent this word unto the king, Return thou, and all thy servants. 19 And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his HEART. 2 SAMUEL 22 2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my FORTRESS, and my deliverer; 2 SAMUEL 24 10 And David's HEART smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. 1 KINGS 2 4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their HEART and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel. 44 The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine HEART is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head; 1 KINGS 3 6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of HEART with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. 9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding HEART to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? 12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding HEART; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. 1 KINGS 4 29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of HEART, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. 1 KINGS 8 17 And it was in the HEART of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. 18 And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine HEART to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine HEART. 23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their HEART: 38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own HEART, and spread forth his hands toward this house: 39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose HEART thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the HEARTS of all the children of men;) 48 And so return unto thee with all their HEART, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name: 58 That he may incline our HEARTS unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. 61 Let your HEART therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. 66 On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of HEART for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people. --MORE-- |
