JEREMIAH 48 6 FLEE, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness. 9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may FLEE and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein. JEREMIAH 49 8 FLEE ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to FLEE, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 30 FLEE, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. JEREMIAH 50 16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall FLEE every one to his own land. 28 The voice of them that FLEE and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple. JEREMIAH 51 6 FLEE out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. LAMENTATIONS 2 2 The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the GROUND: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof. 9 Her gates are sunk into the GROUND; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. 10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the GROUND, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the GROUND. 21 The young and the old lie on the GROUND in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. EZEKIEL 12 6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the GROUND: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel. 12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the GROUND with his eyes. EZEKIEL 13 14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the GROUND, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 19 12 But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the GROUND, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them. 13 And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty GROUND. EZEKIEL 24 7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the GROUND, to cover it with dust; EZEKIEL 26 11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the GROUND. 16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the GROUND, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee. EZEKIEL 28 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the GROUND, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. EZEKIEL 32 2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and FOULEDST their rivers. EZEKIEL 38 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the GROUND. EZEKIEL 41 16 The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the GROUND up to the windows, and the windows were covered; 20 From the GROUND unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple. EZEKIEL 42 6 For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the GROUND. EZEKIEL 43 14 And from the bottom upon the GROUND even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit. DANIEL 8 5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the GROUND: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the GROUND, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the GROUND, and stamped upon them. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the GROUND; and it practised, and prospered. 18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the GROUND: but he touched me, and set me upright. DANIEL 10 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the GROUND. 15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the GROUND, and I became dumb. HOSEA 2 18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the GROUND: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. HOSEA 10 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow GROUND: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. AMOS 2 16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall FLEE away naked in that day, saith the LORD. AMOS 3 14 That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the GROUND. AMOS 5 19 As if a man did FLEE from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. AMOS 7 1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he FORMED grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. 12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, FLEE thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: AMOS 9 1 I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not FLEE away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. OBADIAH 1 3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the GROUND? JONAH 1 3 But Jonah rose up to FLEE unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. NAHUM 2 8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall FLEE away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. NAHUM 3 7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall FLEE from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee? 17 Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they FLEE away, and their place is not known where they are. HAGGAI 1 11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the GROUND bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands. ZECHARIAH 2 6 Ho, ho, come forth, and FLEE from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. ZECHARIAH 8 12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the GROUND shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. --MORE-- |
