EXODUS 14 15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go FORWARD: 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us FLEE from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. EXODUS 21 13 And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall FLEE. LEVITICUS 26 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall FLEE when none pursueth you. 36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall FLEE, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. NUMBERS 1 51 And when the tabernacle setteth FORWARD, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. NUMBERS 2 17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set FORWARD with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set FORWARD, every man in his place by their standards. 24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go FORWARD in the third rank. 34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set FORWARD, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers. NUMBERS 4 5 And when the camp setteth FORWARD, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: 15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set FORWARD; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. NUMBERS 10 5 When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go FORWARD. 17 And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set FORWARD, bearing the tabernacle. 18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set FORWARD according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur. 21 And the Kohathites set FORWARD, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came. 22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set FORWARD according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud. 25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set FORWARD, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 28 Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set FORWARD. 35 And it came to pass, when the ark set FORWARD, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee FLEE before thee. NUMBERS 21 10 And the children of Israel set FORWARD, and pitched in Oboth. NUMBERS 22 1 And the children of Israel set FORWARD, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho. NUMBERS 24 11 Therefore now FLEE thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. NUMBERS 32 19 For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or FORWARD; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward. NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. DEUTERONOMY 4 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground.
