ESTHER 6 10 Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's GATE: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken. 12 And Mordecai came again to the king's GATE. PSALM 69 12 They that sit in the GATE speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. PSALM 104 20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the FOREST do creep forth. PSALM 118 20 This GATE of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. PSALM 127 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the GATE. PROVERBS 17 19 He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his GATE seeketh destruction. PROVERBS 22 22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the GATE: PROVERBS 24 7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the GATE. SONG OF SOLOMON 7 4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the GATE of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus. ISAIAH 9 18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the FOREST, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. ISAIAH 10 18 And shall consume the glory of his FOREST, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth. 19 And the rest of the trees of his FOREST shall be few, that a child may write them. 34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the FOREST with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. ISAIAH 32 15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a FOREST. 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the FOREST; and the city shall be low in a low place. ISAIAH 37 24 By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the FOREST of his Carmel. ISAIAH 44 14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the FOREST: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it. 23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O FOREST, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
