GENESIS 13 1 And ABRAM went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 2 And ABRAM was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. 4 Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there ABRAM called on the name of the LORD. 5 And Lot also, which went with ABRAM, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of ABRAM's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8 And ABRAM said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. 12 ABRAM dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. 14 And the LORD said unto ABRAM, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 18 Then ABRAM removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. GENESIS 14 12 And they took Lot, ABRAM's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 13 And there came one that had escaped, and told ABRAM the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with ABRAM. 14 And when ABRAM heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be ABRAM of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 21 And the king of Sodom said unto ABRAM, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. 22 And ABRAM said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, 23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made ABRAM rich: GENESIS 15 1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto ABRAM in a vision, saying, Fear not, ABRAM: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 2 And ABRAM said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And ABRAM said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, ABRAM drove them away. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon ABRAM; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 13 And he said unto ABRAM, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with ABRAM, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: GENESIS 16 1 Now Sarai ABRAM's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto ABRAM, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And ABRAM hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai ABRAM's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after ABRAM had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband ABRAM to be his wife. 5 And Sarai said unto ABRAM, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. 6 But ABRAM said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. 15 And Hagar bare ABRAM a son: and ABRAM called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. 16 And ABRAM was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to ABRAM. GENESIS 17 1 And when ABRAM was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to ABRAM, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 3 And ABRAM fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called ABRAM, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. NUMBERS 16 1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and ABIRAM, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: 12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and ABIRAM, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: 24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and ABIRAM. 25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and ABIRAM; and the elders of Israel followed him. 27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and ABIRAM, on every side: and Dathan and ABIRAM came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. NUMBERS 26 9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and ABIRAM. This is that Dathan and ABIRAM, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD: DEUTERONOMY 11 6 And what he did unto Dathan and ABIRAM, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel: JUDGES 19 30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take ADVICE, and speak your minds.
