EXODUS 40 8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court GATE. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court GATE. So Moses finished the work. 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud ABODE thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. DEUTERONOMY 25 7 And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the GATE unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother. JUDGES 9 35 And Gaal the son of Ebed went out, and stood in the entering of the GATE of the city: and Abimelech rose up, and the people that were with him, from lying in wait. 40 And Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and wounded, even unto the entering of the GATE. 44 And Abimelech, and the company that was with him, rushed forward, and stood in the entering of the GATE of the city: and the two other companies ran upon all the people that were in the fields, and slew them. So the woman ABODE, and gave her son suck until she weaned him. 1 SAMUEL 4 18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the GATE, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy.
