NUMBERS 24 11 Therefore now FLEE thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. NUMBERS 26 18 These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and FIVE hundred. 22 These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and FIVE hundred. 27 These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and FIVE hundred. 37 These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and FIVE hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families. 41 These are the sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and FIVE thousand and six hundred. 50 These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and FIVE thousand and four hundred. NUMBERS 31 8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, FIVE kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. 28 And levy a tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of FIVE hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: 32 And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and FIVE thousand sheep, 36 And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and FIVE hundred sheep: 39 And the asses were thirty thousand and FIVE hundred; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and one. 43 (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and FIVE hundred sheep, 45 And thirty thousand asses and FIVE hundred, NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. DEUTERONOMY 4 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 12 And he took about FIVE thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 10 5 Therefore the FIVE kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. 16 But these FIVE kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah. 17 And it was told Joshua, saying, The FIVE kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah. 22 Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those FIVE kings unto me out of the cave. 23 And they did so, and brought forth those FIVE kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. 26 And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on FIVE trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening. JOSHUA 13 3 From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: FIVE lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites: JOSHUA 14 10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and FIVE years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and FIVE years old. JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. JUDGES 3 3 Namely, FIVE lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. JUDGES 18 2 And the children of Dan sent of their family FIVE men from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there. 7 Then the FIVE men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man. 14 Then answered the FIVE men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do. 17 And the FIVE men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war. JUDGES 20 32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us FLEE, and draw them from the city unto the highways. 35 And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and FIVE thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword. 45 And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways FIVE thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them. 46 So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and FIVE thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour. --MORE-- |
