DEUTERONOMY 2 7 For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these FORTY years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. DEUTERONOMY 9 9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount FORTY days and FORTY nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: 11 And it came to pass at the end of FORTY days and FORTY nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant. 18 And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, FORTY days and FORTY nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 25 Thus I fell down before the LORD FORTY days and FORTY nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you. DEUTERONOMY 10 10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, FORTY days and FORTY nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 25 3 FORTY stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 29 5 And I have led you FORTY years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. --MORE-- |
