ACTS 21 40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a GREAT silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying, ACTS 22 6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a GREAT light round about me. 28 And the chief captain answered, With a GREAT sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born. ACTS 23 9 And there arose a GREAT cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 10 And when there arose a GREAT dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle. 14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a GREAT curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. ACTS 24 2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy GREAT quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, 7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with GREAT violence took him away out of our hands, ACTS 25 23 And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with GREAT pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth. ACTS 26 22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and GREAT, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: ACTS 27 30 And as the shipmen were about to FLEE out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, ACTS 28 6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a GREAT while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god. 29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had GREAT reasoning among themselves. ROMANS 9 2 That I have GREAT heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. ROMANS 15 23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a GREAT desire these many years to come unto you; 1 CORINTHIANS 6 18 FLEE fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 CORINTHIANS 9 11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a GREAT thing if we shall reap your carnal things? 1 CORINTHIANS 10 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, FLEE from idolatry. 1 CORINTHIANS 16 9 For a GREAT door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. 2 CORINTHIANS 1 10 Who delivered us from so GREAT a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; 2 CORINTHIANS 3 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use GREAT plainness of speech: 2 CORINTHIANS 7 4 GREAT is my boldness of speech toward you, GREAT is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. 2 CORINTHIANS 8 2 How that in a GREAT trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the GREAT confidence which I have in you. 2 CORINTHIANS 11 15 Therefore it is no GREAT thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. EPHESIANS 2 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his GREAT love wherewith he loved us, EPHESIANS 5 32 This is a GREAT mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. COLOSSIANS 2 1 For I would that ye knew what GREAT conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; COLOSSIANS 4 13 For I bear him record, that he hath a GREAT zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis. 1 THESSALONIANS 2 17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with GREAT desire. 1 TIMOTHY 3 13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and GREAT boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 And without controversy GREAT is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 TIMOTHY 6 6 But godliness with contentment is GREAT gain. 11 But thou, O man of God, FLEE these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 2 TIMOTHY 2 20 But in a GREAT house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 22 FLEE also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. TITUS 2 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the GREAT God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; PHILEMON 1 7 For we have GREAT joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. HEBREWS 2 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so GREAT salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; HEBREWS 4 14 Seeing then that we have a GREAT high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. HEBREWS 7 4 Now consider how GREAT this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. HEBREWS 10 32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a GREAT fight of afflictions; 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath GREAT recompence of reward. HEBREWS 12 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so GREAT a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, HEBREWS 13 20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that GREAT shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, JAMES 3 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so GREAT, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth GREAT things. Behold, how GREAT a matter a little fire kindleth! JAMES 4 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will FLEE from you. 1 PETER 3 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of GREAT price. 2 PETER 1 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding GREAT and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. --MORE-- |
