JOB 33 10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me FOR his enemy, 13 Why dost thou strive against him? FOR he giveth not account of any of his matters. 14 FOR God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: FOR he will render unto man his righteousness. 32 If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, FOR I desire to justify thee. JOB 36 4 FOR truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. 7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them FOR ever, and they are exalted. 21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: FOR this hast thou chosen rather than affliction. 27 FOR he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: 31 FOR by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. JOB 41 4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him FOR a servant FOR ever? 5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him FOR thy maidens? JOB 42 3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful FOR me, which I knew not. 7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: FOR ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up FOR yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray FOR you: FOR him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. 10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed FOR his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. 12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: FOR he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. PSALM 1 6 FOR the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. PSALM 2 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen FOR thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth FOR thy possession. PSALM 3 2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help FOR him in God. Selah. 3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield FOR me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; FOR the LORD sustained me. 7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: FOR thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. PSALM 4 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly FOR himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: FOR thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. PSALM 5 2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: FOR unto thee will I pray. 4 FOR thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 7 But as FOR me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. 9 FOR there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. 10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; FOR they have rebelled against thee. 11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout FOR joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 12 FOR thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. --MORE-- |
