EXODUS 24 16 And the glory of the LORD ABODE upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. EXODUS 40 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud ABODE thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. NUMBERS 9 17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud ABODE, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud ABODE upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they ABODE in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And so it was, when the cloud ABODE from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel ABODE in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. NUMBERS 11 35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and ABODE at Hazeroth. NUMBERS 20 1 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people ABODE in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there. NUMBERS 22 8 And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab ABODE with Balaam. NUMBERS 25 1 And Israel ABODE in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. DEUTERONOMY 1 46 So ye ABODE in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye ABODE there. DEUTERONOMY 3 29 So we ABODE in the valley over against Bethpeor. DEUTERONOMY 9 9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I ABODE in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: DEUTERONOMY 21 12 Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and PARE her nails; DEUTERONOMY 23 13 And thou shalt have a PADDLE upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: JOSHUA 2 22 And they went, and came unto the mountain, and ABODE there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not. JOSHUA 5 8 And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they ABODE in their places in the camp, till they were whole. JOSHUA 7 2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to AI, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed AI. 3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite AI; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few. 4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of AI. 5 And the men of AI smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water. JOSHUA 8 1 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to AI: see, I have given into thy hand the king of AI, and his people, and his city, and his land: 2 And thou shalt do to AI and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it. 3 So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against AI: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night. 9 Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and ABODE between Bethel and AI, on the west side of AI: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 10 And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to AI. 11 And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of AI: now there was a valley between them and AI. 12 And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and AI, on the west side of the city. 14 And it came to pass, when the king of AI saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city. 16 And all the people that were in AI were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city. 17 And there was not a man left in AI or Bethel, that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel. 18 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward AI; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city. 20 And when the men of AI looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. 21 And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city, and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of AI. 23 And the king of AI they took alive, and brought him to Joshua. 24 And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of AI in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto AI, and smote it with the edge of the sword. 25 And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of AI. 26 For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of AI. 28 And Joshua burnt AI, and made it an heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day. 29 And the king of AI he hanged on a tree until eventide: and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day. JOSHUA 9 3 And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho and to AI, JOSHUA 10 1 Now it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken AI, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to AI and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them; 2 That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than AI, and all the men thereof were mighty. JOSHUA 12 9 The king of Jericho, one; the king of AI, which is beside Bethel, one; JUDGES 5 17 Gilead ABODE beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships?
