AMOS 6 3 Ye that put far away the EVIL day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; AMOS 9 4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for EVIL, and not for good. 10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The EVIL shall not overtake nor prevent us. JONAH 1 7 And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this EVIL is upon us. JONAH 4 2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the EVIL. Amen. 23 But if thine eye be EVIL, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the EVIL thereof.
