GENESIS 14 12 And they took Lot, ABRAM's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 13 And there came one that had escaped, and told ABRAM the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with ABRAM. 14 And when ABRAM heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be ABRAM of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 21 And the king of Sodom said unto ABRAM, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. 22 And ABRAM said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, 23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made ABRAM rich: GENESIS 15 1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto ABRAM in a vision, saying, Fear not, ABRAM: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 2 And ABRAM said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And ABRAM said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, ABRAM drove them away. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon ABRAM; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 13 And he said unto ABRAM, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with ABRAM, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: GENESIS 16 1 Now Sarai ABRAM's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto ABRAM, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And ABRAM hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai ABRAM's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after ABRAM had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband ABRAM to be his wife. 5 And Sarai said unto ABRAM, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. 6 But ABRAM said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. 15 And Hagar bare ABRAM a son: and ABRAM called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. 16 And ABRAM was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to ABRAM. GENESIS 17 1 And when ABRAM was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to ABRAM, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 3 And ABRAM fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called ABRAM, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. GENESIS 18 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was AFRAID. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. GENESIS 20 8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore AFRAID. LEVITICUS 26 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you AFRAID: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. NUMBERS 9 17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud ABODE, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud ABODE upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they ABODE in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And so it was, when the cloud ABODE from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel ABODE in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. NUMBERS 11 35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and ABODE at Hazeroth. NUMBERS 12 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? NUMBERS 20 1 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people ABODE in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there. NUMBERS 22 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. 8 And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab ABODE with Balaam. --MORE-- |
